About the role
Responsible for leading technical projects and teams, ensuring high-quality software solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Overseeing the development process from conception to deployment, managing resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Manage project risks and issues, providing timely updates to management.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Work closely with clients to understand requirements and ensure project success.
- Train and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and project management.
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.) and relevant frameworks/libraries.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
