Technical Lead – Android Mobile Applications (Medical Device)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Android mobile application development for connected medical device solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and oversight to a team of 4-5 software engineers.
• Drive application architecture, code quality, scalability, testing, and maintainability.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and deployment strategies.
• Manage Google Play Store releases and application lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Compliance, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Monitor project delivery, team performance, and engineering metrics.
• Remain hands-on with application design, development, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in Android mobile application development.
• 4-5+ years of Medical Device industry experience.
• Experience developing Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) application.
• Strong understanding of IEC 62304 and medical device software development lifecycle.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
