Technical Instructor/Course Developer - Norfolk, VA

About the role

The Technical Instructor/Course Developer will design and deliver high-quality training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs tailored to meet organizational needs.
• Design and produce course materials including manuals, videos, and online modules.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and provide feedback to improve future sessions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between training objectives and business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in instructional design and/or training delivery.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with creating and delivering instructor-led training sessions.
• Knowledge of industry-standard training methodologies and technologies.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
