The Role
Provide proposal/quote for customized projects by focusing on in-depth understanding of customer needs, formulating and effectively presenting an analytical solution, and further providing a quote with a statement of work.
Demonstrates the ability to develop customer opportunities into larger engagements via technical sales and relationship building.
Maintains direct contact with customers and helps to understand and develop specific value propositions for target customers.
Supports the sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relationships with clients, which can substantially affect service and revenue.
Focus of work may be in pre-sale and/or post-sale.
Develop technical knowledge of a broad range of analytical methods.
Qualifications
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Chemistry or equivalent in education and experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Must be proficient communicator and listener
- Strong analysis and judgment skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Computer literate, high level of accuracy and detail oriented
- Able to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills
