Technical Inside Sales Representative
About the role
We are a privately-held independent fastener distribution company that provides Class 'C' items, safety equipment (PPE), kits and assemblies, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Programs, and other supplies used in a wide range of industries. Our goal is to provide products and services that meet our customers' needs in a timely fashion with the highest level of quality and value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with customers that will garner additional business
- Ensure customer quotes and orders are entered accurately and in a timely fashion
- Aid customers with finding solutions to address their needs
- Support Field Sales Representatives
- Education customers on company products, services, and capabilities
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships
Qualification Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Positive and strong work ethic
- High attention to detail
- Creativity and a desire to WORK HARD and HAVE FUN
- Entrepreneurial, aggressive and dedicated achiever
The following experience is a plus but not required:
- Prior technical sales or customer service experience
- Knowledge of fasteners
- Epicor P21 experience
- An associate, technical or bachelor degree
