Pay Rate Range: $60 to $70/hr W2, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Drive technical infrastructure programs from planning through execution and completion.
- Manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously across different locations and teams.
- Prioritize, schedule, and coordinate network infrastructure deployments, changes, and upgrades.
- Partner closely with Network Engineers, Network Deployment teams, Data Center Technicians, Deployment Managers, Technical Program Managers, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and senior stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and timelines.
- Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Track project progress, escalate issues, and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
- Participate in engineering and network design reviews and work with engineers to develop solutions to complex infrastructure challenges.
- Coordinate meetings and provide clear communication regarding project status, risks, obstacles, and next steps.
- Monitor project timelines and costs while ensuring successful delivery within established requirements.
- Support network infrastructure deployment, scaling, maintenance, and optimization initiatives.
- Help ensure consistency across deployed configurations and track exceptions for follow-up.
- Work with cross-functional teams to simplify processes and create predictable execution paths for complex programs.
- Manage escalations and facilitate conflict resolution across dependent teams.
- Build productive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Technical Program Management experience with a networking/infrastructure background.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of networking and network infrastructure.
- Experience working with technical engineering teams and managing cross-functional infrastructure programs.
- Experience managing project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Excel and/or project/program management tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, operations teams, vendors, supply chain, and senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and manage escalations and risks effectively.
- Comfortable working in an environment with ambiguity, competing priorities, and compressed timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data center network infrastructure deployment.
- Knowledge of IP networking, BGP, routing, traffic engineering, or large-scale network design.
- Experience with network capacity planning, scaling, upgrades, or maintenance.
- Supply chain or logistics experience.
- Experience supporting network interconnect or connectivity programs.
- PMP certification or familiarity with project/program management methodologies.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
