Technical Field Support
About the Role
This position provides internal and external product and technical support for a specific power generation, HVAC mobile equipment, heavy-duty diesel product line, or other OEM products.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and conducts branch training for power products.
- Compares the training levels of technicians to factory-determined training requirements, identifying areas of improvement for skills and training.
- Works directly with customers to resolve product failures or diagnostic issues.
- Supports new product and service sales team with technical expertise.
- Develops and instructs service and sales teams on the use of manufacturer-developed software.
- Ensures the branch is properly tooled to handle all service situations.
- Communicates product changes or information.
- Directly communicates with suppliers.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or related experience/training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Computer and software skills including Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
