Technical Executive Director

Responsibilities

• Technical Strategy and Oversight: Setting the technical vision and ensuring programs deliver value while meeting technical requirements and mitigating risks.
• Business Growth and Development: Understanding client needs, shaping opportunities, developing competitive intelligence, crafting compelling technical solutions for proposals, and supporting capture efforts to secure new contracts.
• Innovation and R&D: Driving thought leadership, identifying and investing in key discriminators and disruptive technologies, and overseeing R&D efforts to ensure they align with strategic growth and provide tangible value.
• Community and Talent Development: Engaging with the broader community, supporting talent acquisition, representing the organization at industry events, and fostering internal collaboration among technical experts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 14 years of overall related experience working with SMES in a technical field OR a Master's degree and 12 years of related experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Executive Branch Agencies, or comparable national security experience, with positive and existing relationships in these accounts.
• Experience in systems engineering, cyber capability development, cyber operations, and delivering capabilities and outcomes.
• Ability to foster and build relationships across departments, pursue opportunities, and deliver briefings to both clients and senior stakeholders.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills, and multi-tasking ability are a must; able to think and operate on both the strategic and tactical levels.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, especially when presenting technical topics to a non-technical audience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time, constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
