Technical Director - Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

The role involves leading technical advisory in accounting within a dynamic advisory practice, focusing on transactions related to consolidation, stock compensation, leasing, and other areas under US GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Providing client-focused accounting advice on complex transactions and technical topics.
• Leading and developing a team of associates and managers in technical accounting expertise.
• Partnering with transaction teams on mergers, acquisitions, sell-side, and capital markets deals.
• Supporting audit teams with technical review and transaction-related accounting issues.
• Building long-term relationships with clients and key executives.
• Upholding professional integrity and fostering a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years' experience in public accounting, advisory services, or large multinational organizations with a focus on financial audit or corporate accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; CPA or CPA equivalent required.
• Strong expertise in consolidation, stock compensation, or leasing under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven ability to engage with senior executives and lead diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
