Technical Director - Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

The Technical Director in Accounting Advisory Services leads client-focused advisory on complex transactions involving consolidation, stock compensation, leasing, and related topics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance and support for mergers, acquisitions, sell-side, and capital market transactions.
• Lead and develop a team of advisory professionals, ensuring high-quality client service and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and audit groups to review transactions and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Mentor team members through formal education and real-world client engagements.
• Act with integrity and uphold a professional, respectful work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum eight years of recent experience in public accounting, advisory, or large organizations with a focus on financial audit or corporate accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; CPA or CPA equivalent required.
• Strong expertise in consolidation (including VIE evaluations), stock compensation, or leasing under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven ability to connect with senior executives and lead diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
