Technical Director - Accounting Advisory Services

About the role

The Technical Director in Accounting Advisory Services leads client-focused technical accounting assistance, supporting transactions involving consolidation, stock compensation, leasing, and related topics. They mentor and develop teams of associates to managers, and collaborate with broader engagement teams on mergers, acquisitions, sell-side, and capital market transactions, providing technical accounting expertise. Additionally, they assist audit teams with transaction reviews and develop long-term relationships with clients and key executives. Responsibilities

• Provide expert accounting advisory on complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years' experience in public accounting, advisory, or large multinational organizations, with recent exposure to financial audit or corporate accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CPA or equivalent license required.
• Willingness to travel and work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Skills

• Strong knowledge in consolidation (including complex VIE evaluations), stock compensation, and leasing under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven ability to connect with senior executives, generate new business, and lead diverse teams.
