About the role

This role is for a Technical Director in Accounting Advisory Services within a dynamic advisory practice.

Responsibilities

• providing client-focused accounting advice on transactions such as consolidation, stock compensation, and leasing
• leading educating and developing teams of associates to managers on technical accounting topics
• partnering with transaction teams on mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets regarding technical accounting matters
• supporting audit teams with technical review of transactions
• building long-term relationships with clients and key executives and maintaining professional integrity and a respectful work environment

Qualifications

• require a minimum of eight years of recent experience in public accounting, advisory services, or large organizations
• a bachelor's degree in relevant fields and licensed CPA or equivalent
• Expertise in consolidation (including complex variable interest entities), stock compensation, or leasing under US GAAP and IFRS is essential.
• The role demands strong leadership, ability to connect with senior executives, and willingness to travel.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
