Description Your Role As a Technical Designer with Gensler’s team in Atlanta you will contribute to the design and delivery some of the most complex and impactful Hospitality, Mixed Use, Residential, Critical Facilities, Retail and Workplace projects in the region. You will bring together design excellence, technical rigor, and strategic thinking to deliver architecture that is both deeply functional and experientially rich. You will work within a highly collaborative, client-focused culture that values design quality, resilience, and social purpose. What You Will Do Collaborate with a team of Architects and Interior Designers that bring design dreams to life through innovative problem solving and design best practicesProduce technical documentation and communicate project progress to team members to ensure successDevelop drawings, details, and diagrams using Revit, and other tools as neededSupport all phases of the design project from conceptual/schematic design through construction administrationSupport coordination with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectivesParticipate in construction administration, evaluate bids, conduct site visits, address technical issues, and maintain quality control during constructionUtilize hand drawings and 3D software renderings to communicate design concepts Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program3-6 years of relevant experience within a commercial design firmKnowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniquesExperience with all phases of the design process from schematic design through construction administration, and field observationStrong proficiency with RevitProficiency with SketchUp, Enscape, or other 3D modeling software, and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is preferredStrong verbal and written communication, organization, and collaboration skillsPassion for design excellence and continuous learningDemonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices Please include a portfolio that highlights your relevant project experience along with your resume.
