About the role
The Technical Editor’s primary objective will be to edit the databases of equipment used by Sandhills publications and websites. This role is essential to keeping the public websites for the products of Sandhills accurate and easy to use.
Responsibilities
- Review manufacturers, models and specifications to determine if it is necessary to add, remove or update equipment categories on the various publication websites.
- Edit and set standards for all equipment information through extensive industry research and building relationships with manufacturers.
- Identify errors and potential issues with equipment listings and collaborate with staff to solve them.
- Communicate new information and help set the database standards as the industry evolves.
- Document their work.
- Involves a lot of detailed data entry, editing, and contact with management and sales staff to set and hold editorial standards for publications and websites.
- Collaborate with international staff to ensure global standards are met.
Requirements
- In Office Position. 4.5 day regular work week. Ability to commute daily to local office is required.

Pay
This position starts at $20/hour.
