What Makes This Role Great
As a Technical Customer Support Technician, you will be directly involved in shaping customer success by delivering high-impact technical support for cutting-edge VDC and Fabrication solutions. You will go beyond standard troubleshooting by helping MEP contractors, detailers, and fabricators leverage Trimble FabShop as their solution for fabricating Sheet Metal Duct and constructable Revit models and Trimble purpose-built connected technologies.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Drive fast, efficient customer solutions across connected VDC products while championing customer feedback to resolve software bugs and requirement needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development and training teams to continuously enhance product workflows, documentation, and feature requests in Jira.
- Represent the organization as a recognized technical expert at business conferences, industry events, and strategic customer meetings.
- Author impactful technical notes and clear documentation that streamline workflows for internal teams and global end-users.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of technical customer support experience in software or technology environments.
- Hands-on expertise with Shop management software such as Trimble FabShop, Autodesk CamDuct or similar applications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities applied to system set-up, networking, and software interoperability.
- Prominent success in supporting or implementing BIM adoption across MEP engineering or construction specialties.
- Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills with a strong, customer-focused approach.
Bonus Points
- Hands-on expertise using BIM/VDC software such as Autodesk Revit, Trimble SysQue, Trimble Connect, Autodesk Fabrication, or AutoCAD.
- Direct experience supporting Tier I through Tier III software issues using tools like Zoom, TeamViewer, or similar remote desktop software.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and support ticket management systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL and Windows 11.
- Knowledge of tools like Connect2Fab or MEPContent for Fabrication Logistics.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
