Technical Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a professional with 5-10+ years of industry experience and a complete understanding of structured cabling systems, including cat 5e, cat 6, and fiber optic cable. Projects will also encompass Wireless, CCTV, Audio, AV, and In-Building Cellular systems. This role involves daily collaboration with remote installation teams and adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Project coordination of structured cabling projects
• Communicating with customers and partners
• Management of project budgets
• Purchase order management
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Assembling project deliverables
• Project kickoff and close-out calls with customers
• Off-hour and after-hours work may be necessary depending on project requirements
• Some travel required

Requirements

• 4-year college degree or military experience OR 5 years’ experience managing telecommunications infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project)
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
• Availability Monday through Friday, with after-hours work possible depending on project needs
