Technical Coordinator
Job Summary
As a Lab Tech Coordinator, you will perform vital clinical laboratory procedures to detect, identify, measure, and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment. Every day, you will be using technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems, providing essential clinical laboratory support while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.
Responsibilities
- Perform vital clinical laboratory procedures to detect, identify, measure, and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment.
- Use technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems to provide essential clinical laboratory support.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.
- Coaching laboratory personnel to train for adherence to relevant policies and ethics.
- Oversee most laboratory day-to-day operations and exercise authority over operational decisions.
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes.
- Participate in laboratory audits and inspections.
- Perform root cause analysis for identified issues and implement corrective actions.
- Generate reports on quality metrics, instrument performance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory management, medical directors, and other laboratory departments.
Requirements
- Required 2 years clinical lab experience in the designed lab area/specialty (Chemistry, Hematology, Point of Service)
- Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical or biological science as defined by CLIA.

Pay Range
$52.04 - $77.42 /hour
