Overview

Join Esri’s Professional Services team as a Technical Consultant focused on system engineering for ArcGIS Enterprise. In this role, you will work directly with customers to design, deploy, migrate, and support enterprise-scale GIS systems, with an emphasis on advanced deployment strategies such as high availability, disaster recovery, and Kubernetes-based architectures.

Working alongside a team specializing in ArcGIS Enterprise, you will help customers navigate complex enterprise IT environments by applying proven system engineering practices across Windows, Linux, cloud, and containerized deployments. The work spans performance analysis, troubleshooting, and architecture evolution, supporting customers as their systems grow in scale, complexity, and criticality.

This position is ideal for someone with experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise who is motivated to deepen their expertise across multiple deployment patterns and enterprise technologies. You’ll engage with areas such as cloud infrastructure, data storage, authentication, and information security while contributing to challenging, innovative work at the intersection of ArcGIS Enterprise and enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise-scale ArcGIS Enterprise systems

Requirements

  • Experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Proven system engineering skills across Windows, Linux, cloud, and containerized deployments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or GIS
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and related technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
