Technical Consultant 2

Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T-Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team at Ft. Meade, MD in support of the Intelligence Community.

About the role

Provide unique expertise to guide the assessment of IT system objectives and concept of operations; guide the identification of top-level systems requirements; prepare high-level systems architecture in terms of hardware, software, database, and telecommunications components. As lead of the Mission Management team, you will lead a small team that supports customers integrating with Enterprise and IC Attribute and Authorization services. Mission Management support includes:

• Aid development teams in understanding how to integrate and resolve issues with REST Services.
• Support end users to resolve issues where their accesses are being granted or denied incorrectly.

The candidate will use JIRA for ticket management and will provide support via email, chat, and phone. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who enjoys solving puzzles and problems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system applications and perform troubleshooting.
• Understand and communicate complex software systems.
• Modify Confluence pages and write technical documentation to support customers.
• Assist with educating and training customers on software capabilities.
• Assist with understanding and defining customer needs.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with customer ICAM solutions.
• Extensive experience resolving issues with customer ICAM solutions.
• Experience with or knowledge of:
  • Online and telephone customer support
  • LDAP directories
  • SQL and basic database querying abilities
  • RESTful services
  • Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Ticket tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Redmine)
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly (FSP) required within 7 years.

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $230,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
