About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional interested in the commercial side of biotechnology who enjoys communication, relationship-building, organization, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective customers within the biotechnology, microbiology, fermentation, and life science industries
- Support outreach to product managers, technical personnel, and purchasing groups
- Cook product sample activity and maintain follow-up through customer evaluation and validation processes
- Maintain organized documentation of customer interactions and opportunity progress within our CRM system
- Participate in weekly and monthly business review meetings with US and international management teams
- Aid with market research, competitive intelligence, and commercial development activities
- Support customer visits and industry trade shows as needed
- Work closely with internal logistics, account management, and manufacturing teams
Requirements
- BS degree in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related life science field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and follow-up habits
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfort interacting with technical and commercial professionals
- Scientific curiosity and willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate progress and summarize activities clearly
- Strong documentation habits and attention to detail

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in laboratory operations, biotechnology, technical support, customer-facing roles, or commercial support
- Prior exposure to life science business development or customer support is helpful but not required
