Technical Assurance Analyst
New York, NY • Contract • Compensation: $60 - $70 per hour
About The Role
Join a Fortune Broadcast Media & Entertainment organization as a Technical Assurance Analyst, embedded within the Global Streaming Technology team through the end of Q4. In this contract role, you will play a critical support function across business continuity, technology recovery, compliance, and audit initiatives—ensuring projects stay on track, documentation is accurate and organized, and deadlines are met during a period of high operational demand. You will work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to coordinate evidence, track deliverables, perform quality assurance checks, and help improve the processes and standards that keep a world-class streaming technology organization running smoothly. Responsibilities
- Support business continuity and technology recovery processes, including maintaining data, tracking assessment activities, coordinating follow-ups, and supporting reporting
- Perform quality assurance checks on responses provided by participants, ensuring inconsistencies are identified and addressed early in the process
- Coordinate compliance and audit initiatives by tracking requests, evidence, and deliverables, organizing documentation, and following up with stakeholders to ensure on-time completion
- Assist with ongoing compliance communications and awareness efforts, including content coordination for internal initiative updates and newsletters
- Perform data analysis and reporting to improve understanding and categorization of key data sources
- Assist with the delivery and completion of user access reviews for key technology systems, including gathering access reports, transforming data as needed, tracking team responses and follow-ups, scheduling meetings, and tracking rejections and removals
- Help document and continuously improve processes, templates, procedures, and program standards
- Perform other duties as assigned to support broader assurance and compliance objectives
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards, and large sets of operational data
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain strong documentation and records
- Strong data gathering, interpretation, and entry skills
- Proven ability to track tasks, follow up with stakeholders across the organization, and obtain required documentation and responses in a timely manner
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Prior experience supporting compliance, audit, business continuity, or technology assurance initiatives is a plus
