Technical Architect - ML

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement the MLOps strategy aligned with project goals
• Design and own enterprise-grade ML/LLM pipelines, including CI/CD automation
• Build container-oriented ML platforms, primarily using EKS
• Implement hybrid MLOps and LLMOps workflows, focusing on prompt governance
• Serve as a technical authority, contributing to architecture and best practices
• Enable observability, monitoring, and drift detection in ML/LLM systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready ML solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years in ML/AI engineering or MLOps with architecture experience
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud-native ML stack, especially SageMaker
• Hands-on experience with major MLOps tools like MLflow or Kubeflow
• Deep understanding of model lifecycle management from feature engineering to monitoring
• Experience with LLMOps pipelines including prompt versioning and evaluation metrics
