About the role
The Technical Accounting Analyst will report to the Manager, External Reporting in the Controller’s Department and will be directly responsible for accounting areas such as statement of cash flows preparation, derivatives and pensions as well as assisting with the preparation of our periodic SEC filings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the monthly consolidated statement of cash flows.
- Aid in the process for the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K; including selected footnote preparation.
- Record necessary accounting entries and develop associated budgets and forecasts for defined benefit pension, post-retirement plan and post-employment plans.
- Aid in the accounting for incentive compensation plans.
- Record interest rate derivative accounting entries.
- Perform annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment tests.
- Serve as a key contact for external auditors.
- Manage process to create and file financial statements for employee benefit plans.
- File annual SEC Form SD documenting the Company’s conflict minerals process.
- Participate in other projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
- 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience.
- Public accounting or financial reporting experience preferred.

- Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations, combined with the ability to research complex accounting issues.

- Excellent written & oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of general ledger systems (SAP preferred).

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this role is $59,000 to $90,000 per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors.
