Accounting Technical Analyst

About the role

The Accounting Technical Analyst will work remotely and be responsible for partnering with the investment accounting and corporate action business teams and supporting a variety of technical initiatives. The role requires a good understanding of SDLC, data analysis, and gathering business requirements in the investment management industry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with investment accounting and corporate action business teams
• Support a variety of technical initiatives
• Gather business requirements for IT projects
• Perform data analysis within the investment management domain

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the financial/investment management industry
• 4+ years of experience with requirements gathering for IT business requirements
• 3+ years of experience on the Eagle PACE and Eagle STAR platforms
• Ability to work PST hours
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Qualifications

• Comprehension of accounting data and its connection to investment management, trading, performance evaluation, compliance, and regulatory activities
• Understanding of Corporate Actions and processing
• Exposure to financial instruments and pricing
• Experience with Eagle SRM platform (strong plus)
• Experience working with State Street reporting platforms including MyStateStreet reports, RKS, Alpha data platform, CRIMS IBOR
• Experience in supporting production operations, along with issue triage and resolution
• Proficient in SQL and Data Analytics

Pay

The expected base salary range for this role is $130,000–$150,000 per year. The posted range is an estimate; the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.

Schedule

Full-time, remote; must be available to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours.
