About the role

This position is remote within the United States. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Drive profitable sales growth and expand market share for medium-voltage power distribution and packaged substation solutions within the data center and semiconductor markets.
  • Create demand, influence specifications, secure approved vendor status, and establish Siemens solutions as the preferred choice with end users, engineering firms, and contractors.
  • Identify, develop, and penetrate strategic accounts while building long-term customer relationships and executing account growth plans.
  • Manage opportunity pipelines, customer relationship management activities, and accurate monthly sales forecasts.
  • Deliver technical presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and product training to customers, partners, and sales teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on the application and integration of medium-voltage equipment within electrical power distribution systems.
  • Partner with sales teams, channel organizations, and business units to support customer engagement, market strategies, and annual growth objectives.
  • Support contract negotiations, project execution activities, and basic project management functions to ensure successful customer outcomes.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of business development, technical sales, or account management experience supporting data center and semiconductor customers.
  • Experience with medium-voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, protection and control systems, transformers, packaged substations, electrical houses, or power equipment centers.
  • Strong understanding of electrical system architecture, protective relaying, control schemes, and power distribution applications.
  • Experience working directly with end users, engineering procurement and construction firms, and contractor organizations.
  • Ability to conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical training sessions.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and opportunity pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of ANSI, NEMA, and IEC standards.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, including occasional international travel.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or other advanced business degree.
  • 5–10 years of experience selling medium-voltage solutions within the data center and semiconductor industries.
  • Deep knowledge of medium-voltage switchgear solutions, including gas-insulated switchgear technologies.
  • Experience supporting packaged substation solutions, battery energy storage systems, microgrids, electrical houses, skids, motor control centers, and related power distribution equipment.
  • Spanish language proficiency in addition to English.
  • Experience conducting hands-on equipment demonstrations and technical customer workshops.
  • Proven success developing specifications and influencing design decisions with consulting engineers and end users.
  • Project management experience supporting complex electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working effectively in a matrixed organization and cross-functional sales environment.
