Responsibilities
Perform production line testing, troubleshooting and repair. Visually inspect all units to be tested (pre-power inspection).
- Perform visual inspection on all product lines
- Perform standard product testing
- Troubleshoot issues
- Report discrepancies on failed units
- Communicate verbally and in writing with other manufacturing departments
- Maintain test equipment as needed
- Understand and use TIC's Info Source System
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Prefer 2 year technical degree in ET or Electronics Engineering Tech, or 2 year engineering degree or equivalent electronics experience, with 1-3 years experience.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Ability to use digital oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, current clamps, and hand tools
- Knowledge of MS office
Physical Requirements
Requires standing, squatting, and bending to take electrical data on products in test. Some lifting is required to mount, replace, or upgrade equipment or units in test.
Work Environment
Potential electrical shock from working with high AC and DC voltages and currents. Potential arc flash from electrical failures. Appropriate personal protective equipment must be used at all times while testing. Forklift traffic and electrical/industrial hazards are present.
