QC Lab Tech I

About the role

The Quality Control Lab Tech Department at Meridian Adhesives Group is seeking a dedicated individual to ensure our products meet rigorous internal standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role involves testing and reviewing raw materials and finished products using various analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Test and review raw materials / finished products using a wide range of analytical instruments.
• Document test results and report any abnormalities.
• Operate and calibrate equipment under general supervision and direction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Able to articulate and collaborate effectively, both internally and externally.
• Understand how analytical equipment operates and the importance of testing in product quality.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, flexible environment while maintaining high standards.
• Possess the ability to follow directions and make independent decisions.
• Show integrity and adhere to company guidelines and commitments.

Skills

• Working knowledge of analytical instrumentation and GLP basics.
• An Associates of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or advanced degrees preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Standing and sitting throughout the day as needed.
• Able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Education & Experience

Preferred: An Associates of Science in Chemistry, Biology, or advanced degrees.
