About the role
The 2nd Shift QC Tech will provide manufacturing support by maintaining measured product flow through Quality Control processes. Using various lab equipment, EtQ, SAP, Outlook, Excel, and SunQ (color software/hardware), you will verify successful manufacturing in accordance with design product specifications. This role operates under the direct supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor and requires adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Follow and engage in the safety initiatives/programs and protocol at the site.
- Observe and execute all Quality initiatives and programs.
- Acknowledge and process all quality documentation regarding production.
- Display effective training with successful execution of Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Initiate Continuous Improvement Programs for the department.
- Minimize errors through document proofing and review.
- Label and retain production material to provide traceability.
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure product meets specifications.
- Develop strong interdepartmental relationships.
- Perform standardized quality control tests.
- Make effective material additions that ensure product design.
- Approve completed batches against prescribed specifications.
- Support calibration and equipment verification systems.
- Maintain quality control records in accordance with ISO standards.
- Engage in and exhibit 5S behaviors.
- Maintain lab and equipment with high standards in a clean working environment.
- Demonstrate best practices to facilitate KPI and site metrics expectations.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Flexibility with scheduling and adapt to business requirements and needs.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years of industry technical experience.
- High computer aptitude.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to prioritize, follow up, and follow through.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to work well independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Basic understanding of technical and analytical testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree or technical trade school education.
- Chemical solvent testing experience.

Pay
Base pay range: $52,080 - $78,120 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, education, certifications, prevailing wages in the work location, and internal equity.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM.
