Tech Lead – ABAP, Fiori/BTP
Role Overview
The SAP S4HANA Technical Lead will drive the end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery across ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and integration layers. The role involves leading development teams, ensuring adherence to SAP best practices, and delivering scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Governance
Lead the technical workstream for S4HANA implementation
WRICEFW objects
Own design and delivery of ABAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori/UI5 developments
Define and enforce coding standards, architecture, and design guidelines
Review technical specifications and ensure alignment with functional requirements
ABAP S4HANA Development
Design and develop RICEFW objects
Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, ABAP on HANA artifacts
Optimize programs for HANA performance
Implement enhancements using BADI, BAPI, User Exits, RAP preferred
Fiori UI5 Development
Design and develop Fiori Apps
Custom, Standard extensions
Develop and expose OData services, Gateway
Work on UI5 SAP Fiori Launchpad
Ensure adherence to Fiori UX standards and performance optimization
Integration, CPI Interfaces
Support collaboration with integration architects for complex landscapes
Technical Design Delivery Management
Review and approve technical specifications before development
Estimate effort, plan delivery, and track development progress
Manage code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution
Ensure delivery aligns with SAP Activate methodology
Stakeholder Cross Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Functional consultants, Basis, and integration teams
Business stakeholders
Participate in FitGap workshops, Design discussions, Cutover, and golive planning
Quality Compliance Documentation
Ensure compliance with coding standards and review processes
Drive performance tuning and continuous improvements

Variable Compensation: This position includes a bonus or variable payout component based on individual and organizational performance. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance, and internal equity.
