About the role
The Tech-HLA-Lab position at Mayo Clinic is a full-time role within the Laboratory Medicine & Pathology department. This position is remote but requires occasional weekend coverage. Mayo Clinic is highly ranked and offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform and report laboratory testing procedures on blood, tissue, and cultured cells.
- Conduct HLA antigen testing, antibody screening, and flow cytometric crossmatching for transplant patients and their donors.
- Maintain positive relationships with transplant teams through effective communication.
- Assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret information relevant to their age-specific needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Science, Chemistry, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience as a Medical Technologist and good computer skills preferred.
- National Medical Technologist certification, CHS, or CHT preferred.

- $34.38 - $51.63 / hour
