Tech Advisor Breeder I-1st Shift-Waldron Growout

This position serves as the primary support contact for poultry producers, providing technical guidance to ensure bird health, welfare, and optimal flock performance.

Responsibilities

• Advise growers on housing, equipment, litter management, sanitation, flock management, feed and lighting programs, bird health monitoring, and production performance.
• Coordinate bird placements, sample collection, catch schedules, and communication between growers and company operations teams such as hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live-haul.
• Ensure compliance with production contracts, USDA regulations, and company standards.
• Help producers achieve high-quality results at the lowest possible cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally (1 to 5 trips per year).
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, approximately 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
