Tech 2, Maintenance-DPFG

About the role

The Technician 2, Maintenance for Drug Product Finished Goods (DPFG) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Drug Product (DP) related systems/equipment (e.g., filling line, automated inspection line, formulation, and isolation).

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment within the assigned building(s)
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment malfunctions
• Aids in the installation and commissioning of equipment, as needed
• Maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Adheres to all safety requirements, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure compliance with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) quality standards
• Provides recommendations to develop preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime
• Performs spare parts assessments, as required
• Notifies management or Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) when unsafe conditions or hazards are found
• Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-4 years of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Effective communication, both written and oral
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and programmable logic controllers (PLC) or other process control systems
• Detail oriented, and good problem-solving and time management skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes and train others

• Ability to discern audible cues
• Ability to inspect or perform a task with 20/20 corrected vision, visual acuity, including distinguishing color
• Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include writs, hands and/or fingers
• Ability to operate machinery and/or power tools
• Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 50 lbs.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Second shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
