About the role

Develop and execute multiple, concurrent social media strategies that support multiple line-of-business campaign goals through the teammate social program. Deliver effective and efficient strategies for planning, creative, optimization, measurement, and reporting to achieve best-in-class teammate social media executions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver teammate social media program strategies aligned with enterprise and line-of-business goals.
  • Build and manage content calendars, creative processes, legal/compliance/risk review processes, measurement, and reporting.
  • Participate in social content asset production.
  • Drive brand and company awareness, consideration, and conversion through various social media channels and creative executions.
  • Ensure brand visual and voice consistency across social media.
  • Develop and deploy actionable plans to evolve, grow, and optimize teammate social program presence and engagement.
  • Create recommendations for innovative social media tactics, initiatives, and tech solutions.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with leaders across marketing, the enterprise, social media channels, and agency partners.
  • Support crisis and incident protocols, including listening, reporting, community management, and copywriting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, practices, theories, and methodologies (e.g., Marketing P’s, market research, analytics, digital).
  • Experience managing or leading projects or project workstreams in a specialty capacity.
  • Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape and factors differentiating Truist from competitors.
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to diverse audiences and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to experienced teammates.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including preparing presentations for senior leadership.
  • Expertise with social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and YouTube.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services or related industry experience.
  • Integrated marketing and/or digital marketing experience.
  • Experience delivering national social media and/or influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Multi-cultural marketing experience.

Working Conditions

  • Sitting frequently (25%–50% of the time).
  • Visual, audio, and speaking abilities required to access and interpret client information, and communicate in person and by phone.
  • Manual dexterity and keyboarding skills for standard office equipment (PC, copy/fax machines, printers).
  • Availability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as needed.
  • Travel up to 25%.
