Location: Lansing, [[filter2]], USA The Team Lead I is responsible to maintain daily operations in an assigned area in the absence of the Supervisor. Assists in assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work within their area of operation. Duties And Responsibilities Assists in organizing daily associate activitiesPrepares reports as required by ManagementReports and resolves shortages, damages, non-conformances, and other discrepanciesMaintains accurate department records and documentationReads and understands blueprintsProvides assistance and training in established processes, procedures, and technical applicationsUnderstands equipment and materials required to perform the jobEnsures proper equipment and tools are available for associates to perform daily activitiesContacts internal customers directlyAssists management in addressing customer issues and concernsAssures that Customer Specific Requirements are metAssists Facility or Department Manager / Supervisor as directedAssists management in meeting corporate and departmental goals and objectivesSupports corporate policies and departmental policiesSupports EMS/QMS policies and proceduresSupports health and safety policiesAssociate must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructionsExperience with the following systems:PkMSMicrosoft Office applications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Degree Requirements High School graduate or equivalent Certification Requirements Forklift Certified Previous Experience Minimum of 4 yrs. in a warehouse or rework environment Travel Requirements As Required On Call Requirements N/A Physical Requirements Ability to lift 30 lbs.
