This isn’t just a sales role—it’s an opportunity to lead, mentor, and grow a team while operating your own independent sales business with the backing of a trusted brand. As a Team Leader, you will continue performing all responsibilities of an Independent Roofing Sales Contractor while also supporting recruiting, training, and coaching efforts within your team.
Responsibilities
- Generate your own leads through canvassing, referrals, networking, and community outreach
- Connect with homeowners and build lasting relationships
- Educate homeowners on roofing solutions and guide them with confidence through the process
- Manage your schedule and sales pipeline independently
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through project completion
- Consistently achieve personal sales goals and revenue targets
Team Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead by example through strong personal sales performance and professionalism
- Mentor, coach, and support new Independent Roofing Sales Contractors as they enter the business
- Share proven sales strategies, product knowledge, and industry best practices
- Conduct ride-alongs, sales training sessions, and hands-on coaching in the field
- Help team members develop confidence in prospecting, inspections, presentations, and closing sales
- Support recruiting efforts by identifying and attracting high-quality sales talent
- Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented team culture
- Encourage team members to meet and exceed their individual goals
- Serve as a trusted resource for questions related to roofing systems, insurance claims, customer service, and sales processes
- Collaborate with company leadership to improve team performance and drive overall growth
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Proven sales experience in the roofing industry
- Comfortable with door-to-door canvassing and lead generation
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Self-motivated entrepreneur with the ability to work independently
- Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset
- Comfortable working in the field and engaging directly with homeowners
- Willing to learn and execute company standards
- Able to climb ladders and safely navigate roofs
- Active LLC and EIN (or willing to obtain)
