Team Leader

About the role

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is seeking a Team Leader to support their retail store operations. This position focuses on great customer service and aligns with the organization's core values of respect, excellence, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Aids in directing and demonstrating job duties to Production Clerks.
• Displays excellent customer service by greeting donors and customers, offering assistance.
• Sorts and stocks materials in stores as needed.
• Operates cash registers and performs other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic math skills, ability to make change, and timely completion of paperwork.
• May serve as a coach in one-on-one training with a Production Clerk(s).
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

Physical Demands

• Lights to medium work involving sitting, bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping, and frequent repetitive motions.
• Requires good finger dexterity and vision, frequent talking and hearing, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to perform material handling with few restrictions, work with minimal supervision, and work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is not required.
