Team Leader (ACT Team)

About the role

The Team Leader provides administrative and clinical support for the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The ACT Team serves the borough of Manhattan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the ACT team
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes
• Provide clinical supervision to team members
• Manage the budget and resources of the ACT team
• Collaborate with staff to develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a mental health setting, preferably in a leadership capacity
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Experience with Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) models and evidence-based practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field
• Experience with ACT models and evidence-based practices
• Experience working with diverse populations

Skills

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

$70,000 - $77,200 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
