Team Lead - San Antonio, Texas
About the role
The Assembly Line Team Leader is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting a team of Assembly Team Members to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals. This role serves as a key link between production teams and management and plays a critical role in establishing a strong culture as the San Antonio facility launches.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily assembly line operations to meet production targets
- Provide direction, coaching, and on-the-job support to team members
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and work instructions
- Monitor workflow, identify issues, and escalate concerns as appropriate
- Support training and onboarding of new team members
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Assist with performance feedback and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading or supervising teams in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes, safety, and quality standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to lead by example in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
