About the role

Join the team that helps launch the next chapter of Avivo Village, a new community designed to provide safety, stability, and opportunity for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and provide daily work direction to Resident Advocates during overnight operations
  • Ensure a safe, welcoming, and person-centered environment for residents and staff
  • Respond to participant concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations utilizing trauma-informed and de-escalation practices
  • Support shift operations and ensure continuity of services across the 24/7 program
  • Coach, train, and support staff while promoting accountability and professional growth
  • Foster a culture grounded in Housing First, Harm Reduction, recovery, and trauma-informed care
  • Maintain documentation, reporting requirements, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with leadership and community partners to support participant success
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen services, operations, and participant outcomes
  • Advance Avivo's commitment to undoing racism and reducing disparities

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of four years of experience providing direct services in housing, homelessness services, behavioral health, human services, or a related field
  • Experience providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, or work direction
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn Housing First, Harm Reduction, recovery-oriented, and trauma-informed practices
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions during crisis situations
  • Experience using electronic health record systems and documentation platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, participant-centered services
  • Ability to work overnight hours consistently

3rd Shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
