Team Lead - Digital Cutting

Paramount Printing is seeking an effective and motivated team leader with a proven track record of monitoring progress to ensure goal attainment. The selected candidate will guide the implementation of strategies designed to achieve planned goals. 2nd shift team leader is responsible for delegating work, overseeing progress towards goals, and coaching team members as needed. Shift Hours: 3:30pm - 2:00am Job Duties/Responsibilities: Manage the operation and admin.Lead and motivate the team.Manage performance.Solve problems.Care for the health, safety and welfare of your people.Foster open communication.Create a positive work environment.Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.Ability to work in a variety of roles.Strong project management skills.Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)Ability to learn how to effectively use databases systems such as ERP’s.Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Supervision Received: Works with minimal supervision. Issues and concerns need to be communicated to supervisor. Qualifications And Education Requirements Previous experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements: Lifting: Occasionally raises objects from a lower to a higher position or moves objects horizontally from position-to position. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs. Push/Pull: Occasionally uses upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion. Weight is usually less than 20 lbs. Standing: Standing for moderate levels of time. Infrequently more than 30 minutes at a time. Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks. In frequently more than 30 minutes at a time. Manual dexterity is needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the plant.
