Responsibilities
- Daily clinical support/supervision of team members
- On Call/Holiday scheduling
- Development of on call requirements/process
- Handbook Maintenance/Upkeep
- Policies and Procedures upkeep/review
- Lead will focus on identification of opportunities for Social Work representation hospital wide in committees and workgroups
Qualifications
- Education Required: Masters of Social Work from accredited University
- Experience Required: A minimum of 5 years of pediatric hospital based Social Work experience. Strong clinical skills and proven effectiveness at clinical case consultation and patient advocacy.
- Licenses Required: Current/Active LCSW from state of CT
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- Strong understanding of EPIC documentation
- On Call requirements
- Policies and procedures relevant to Social Work including DCF Abuse/Neglect/Custody, PT Rights and Responsibilities, Local and State resources for at risk/vulnerable families, risk assessment and safety planning, family/individual brief intervention/coping and support, as well as other hospital standards of care.
