Hours & Shift
- Initially works second shift and third shift due to start-up of new facility.
- Four 10-hour shifts: Monday–Thursday from 1:00PM-11:30PM or Tuesday-Friday from 9:00PM-7:30AM.
- Starting Fall 2026, schedule transitions to permanent hours of third-shift, Monday–Thursday +1 (into Friday) from 9:00PM to 7:30AM.
Pay Range & Growth Opportunity
- Pay Starting at $30.25/hour
- Pay Premium: $3.00 per hour for night shift hours (6:00PM – 6:00AM)
- $1,500 sign-on bonus
Job Summary
Grande is now hiring for a Team Lead position at their brand-new state-of-the-art facility in Chilton. This role involves leading and supporting Production Associates while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. The Team Lead will coordinate daily activities, provide real-time direction and coaching, and drive performance by focusing on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include training and mentoring team members, contributing to process improvements, and partnering with operations and engineering to enhance efficiency and performance. Candidates must hold a valid Pasteurizer and Cheesemaker license.

What you need to be considered for the role:
- High School or GED
- Cheesemaker's license
- Pasteurizer's license
- Experience in dairy manufacturing (minimum 3+ years)
- Thorough understanding of required processes and ability to independently anticipate and make decisions
- Leadership skills including effective communication, presentation, response to questions, and training & mentoring others
- Training and/or experience with conflict management, delegation, multi-tasking, and decision making
- Ability to comprehend technical instructions/policies/procedures in various forms
- Strong computer skills
- Project management/leadership skills
- Strong math, reading, and writing skills
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
- Able to regularly lift and move objects weighing between 20–50 lbs, frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and exposure to vibration
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold), high humidity, and loud machinery
