Team Lead (Boardman, OR)

What you will do

The Production Lead is responsible for keeping the production and milk receiving areas in a safe, sanitary and efficient work order.

Day in the life

• Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Dairy Science – Understands the components of milk, starter bacteria, and other ingredients, and the processing of making dairy products to a specification
• Statistical Process Control – Understands basic statistics and their application in understanding a process and how it is responding to correction
• Physics – Knowledge and prediction of physical principles, laws, their interrelationships
• Systems Evaluation – Identifying measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system

• Equipment Maintenance – Performing basic routine maintenance on equipment and determine when other maintenance is needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-3 years of Food Manufacturing Experience
• Prior Lead experience or education preferred
