Team Lead

About the role

As a Team Lead at our child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while taking the lead on classroom management, curriculum implementation, and mentoring fellow teachers. This role is ideal for an energetic, dependable, and passionate individual who wants to grow professionally in a supportive community.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children through classroom instruction (at least 50% of weekly schedule).
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow teachers, creating fun and interactive learning experiences.
• Assume duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA (preferred).
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• At least 18 years of age.
