Responsibilities
- Lead others and motivate a group of peers without direct supervision
- Make effective use of work time and demonstrate good judgement in using tools and equipment, especially in non-standard situations
- Work independently and effectively in a team environment
- Organize and maintain detailed records
- Work well in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and handle competing priorities
- Perform other responsibilities as required
- Follow all operational and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as written
- Maintain regular attendance and timeliness to avoid disruptions in production and customer service
- Drive lean culture across the plant with patience, perseverance, and passion
- Pass forklift certification on Masonite Learning Management System (LMS)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of and experience with production flow and processes
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to implement change
- Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop effective teams without direct control
