Responsibilities

• Lead others and motivate a group of peers without direct supervision
• Make effective use of work time and demonstrate good judgement in using tools and equipment, especially in non-standard situations
• Work independently and effectively in a team environment
• Organize and maintain detailed records
• Work well in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and handle competing priorities
• Perform other responsibilities as required
• Follow all operational and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as written
• Maintain regular attendance and timeliness to avoid disruptions in production and customer service
• Drive lean culture across the plant with patience, perseverance, and passion
• Pass forklift certification on Masonite Learning Management System (LMS)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 5+ years of work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of and experience with production flow and processes
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
• Highly energized and self-motivated with experience working with teams to implement change
• Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and written/verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop effective teams without direct control
