Team Lead

About the role

Oversee a team of four technical writers responsible for policy documentation supporting the enterprise risk framework and management within the Canadian Wealth business segment. Develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and related governance documentation. Partner with stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders to ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, usable, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four technical writers focused on policy documentation for an enterprise risk framework within the Canadian Wealth segment.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance policies, procedures, standards, work instructions, and governance documentation.
• Partner with stakeholders, subject matter experts, risk and compliance teams, and operational leaders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and usability.
• Drive consistency across documentation standards and templates.
• Support regulatory, audit, operational excellence, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure documentation aligns with organizational objectives and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Team leadership experience guiding technical writers or documentation specialists.
• Proven background developing policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
• Experience collaborating with risk, compliance, audit, and operational stakeholders.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and documentation standards.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to enforce consistency and quality.
