About the Role
The Team Lead will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for a team of more than 10 coordinators. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping teams stay organized, assigning work, managing deadlines, and stepping in confidently when priorities shift. You’ll report to the hiring manager and work closely with the team to ensure the right people are focused on the right work. While this is not currently a formal people manager position, you’ll take on meaningful leadership responsibilities and gain hands-on experience in team leadership, project management, and problem-solving.
- Provide day-to-day direction and support to a team of coordinators
- Assign work based on priorities, deadlines, and team capacity
- Monitor progress and redirect the team when work is off track
- Help ensure the right people are working on the right projects
- Provide on-the-job training and reinforce effective ways of working
- Take ownership of problems, recommend a path forward, and help the team execute it
- Keep work organized across team trackers, processes, and competing priorities
- Partner with the hiring manager on team performance, development, and operational needs
- Build the leadership and people-management skills needed to grow with the team
Qualifications
The right candidate will:

Requirements
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in a management, supervisory, shift lead, or similar capacity
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- The confidence to give clear direction, make decisions, and hold others accountable
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage deadlines, assign tasks, and adjust quickly when priorities change
- Strong organization, time-management, and adaptability skills
- A collaborative, hands-on leadership style that helps you build trust with an early-career team
- The ability to learn new systems, processes, terminology, and workflows quickly
Healthcare, clinical research, medical scribe, medical billing, or other healthcare-related exposure is not required but always a plus!
