Team Lead Anesthesia Technician - 1.0 FTE
About the role
Are you ready to share your knowledge with our team of Anesthesia Technicians? There is no better feeling than guiding expert care for our smallest patients!
Responsibilities
- Assists leadership in accomplishing goals and objectives of Surgical Services and the health system.
- Understands and satisfies the needs of the neonatal, infant, toddler, pre-school age, adolescent and/or adult patient in regards to their growth and development process.
- Actively supports and participates in QI initiatives and performs the functions of the Anesthesia Technician as assigned.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of clinical Anesthesia Technician experience.
- Associate Degree in anesthesia technology and ASATT Certification preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
- Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and assume 24 hour availability for unit coverage.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with leaders and staff on policy and procedure matters.
Qualifications
Orientation will be 90 days.
Hrs: 1st shift
Skills
This position requires:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
- Proficiency in operating anesthesia equipment.

Salary dependent upon experience.
