Team Lead - AIC Powder 1st Shift

Team Lead Responsibilities

• Verbal instruct employees to complete tasks and functions in which they are cross trained.
• Assess workload distribution and direct cross-trained employees to undertake additional or alternative duties.
• Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, supporting them to ensure the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
• Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, while fostering a culture of working safely.

Qualifications

• Lead and train department personnel to assume verbatim compliance with written work instructions and procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule Assembly and Test Kick-Off meetings with respective departments.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and alloy identity inspections of randomly selected parts for compliance to project requirements.
• Review existing tooling, gauging, and fixtures and make improvements, as necessary, to afford increased department efficiency.
• Maintain equipment and facilities through the procurement of materials and hardware.
• Follow through on hardware and software issues requiring services of other departments to afford timely completion.
• Attend Project Status meetings and provide input.
• Responsible for safety practices and procedures and implement corrective actions.

Additional Responsibilities

• Add additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Skills

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good leadership skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Basic knowledge of computer functions, including the ability to use multiple computer systems and programs.

Pay & Schedule

Salary: $20 - $27 / hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift)
