As a Distribution Team Lead at GNC, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations of a specific area within the warehouse to ensure all incoming orders are processed according to department defined goals, ensuring transactions accuracy and reporting discrepancies to find resolutions. Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Supervisor in maximizing productivity and employee morale, ensuring service levels are met.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by monitoring workers' productivity, assessing their performance, inspecting their work to meet specified standards, detecting areas that need improvement, and giving detailed feedback to help them improve.
• Monitor work activities within assigned areas, reporting status updates to the supervisor.
• Troubleshoot system/process issues, assist with corrective procedures, and provide status updates to the department supervisor.
• Ensure all work equipment is functional and available; inspect equipment to identify shortages and damages; relate findings to management for quick resolution that minimizes disruptions to operations.
• Manage work assignments and adjust staffing to optimize operational flow and labor hours.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Repetitively maneuvering and handling of product up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly requires standing, walking, sitting, and various movements such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, along with talking and hearing.
• Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, electrical shock risks, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Work environment typically has low to moderate noise levels.
• Operating some Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) may require working at heights of up to 32 feet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
